Chesham Action Partnership
About ChAP
The Chesham Action Partnership (ChAP) was established in September 2008, with the aim of supporting groups that work to develop and improve Chesham. ChAP also intends to identify new areas for action, and to encourage existing or new groups to cover these areas. ChAP provides a forum for identifying problems and helping to solve them; recognising opportunities and seeking the best way to pursue them; agreeing priorities and providing expertise in specialist areas, such as funding. ChAP has produced a
Profile of Chesham (PDF, 97 KB), which highlights the differences between Chesham and average values for Chiltern District, which it is hoped will be used to inform debate across the district.
ChAP also encompasses the revitalisation work of the Town Centre Consortium and the Chesham Community Vision Working Group, which has successfully carried out a number of projects, such as the

The ChAP constitution was signed by the Management Committee on the 21 October 2008.
