The Music in the Park season runs through July and August each year, with free concerts starting at 2.30 pm, in Lowndes Park on Sunday afternoons.
2011's concerts offered a wide variety of music, including jazz, blues, rock 'n' roll, reggae, latin american, choral and traditional brass bands.
The Mayor of Chesham, Councillor Derek Lacey, officially opened the Music in the Park Season 2011 in Chesham on Sunday 3rd July. The first afternoon concert of the year was performed by traditional brass band, The Amersham Band. Plenty of locals came along to enjoy the free performance, picnicking on the lawns and enjoying the music in the hot summer weather.
