Cameron Road Allotments

The Allotments Group work with the council to maintain our three allotments sites and are also happy to offer advice to tenants. The group has created a Focal Point at the Cameron Road allotments and holds regular Saturday coffee mornings there during the growing season, along with other events throughout the year. They also hold an Open Day on the allotments each August, when interested members of the public can come along and find out more about the tradition of allotmenteering. Prizes are awarded annually at the group's AGM for the Best Kept Allotment and for the Best Scarecrow.
