Chesham Markets
Local Produce Market - Britain's Greenest Market!

The town centre is bustling and vibrant on local produce days
Chesham's Local Produce Market is Britain's Greenest Market -
as voted by the National Market Traders Federation - and operates on the fourth Saturday of each month. The next market will take place on
Saturday 25th February from 10 am to 2 pm in Market Square. There will be a great variety of local produce on offer, including eggs, jewellery, bread, honey, pickles, curry sauces, oils, jams, fruit'n'veg, ostrich, water buffalo, cakes and much more!

All year round our popular markets mean you can sample and buy fine quality food, drink and crafts from producers, most of whom are based within 10 miles of the town. It's a fantastic opportunity to try the local produce on your doorstep, at your convenience.
See our list of regular stall holders. Whatever the weather, there's a good turn out and a great ambience - see Click@'s gallery of our rather wet February 2011 market:

The local produce markets are organised by the town council and
Transition Town Chesham, to support local producers and to reduce the food miles consumed by Chesham's residents to help create a more sustainable community.
If you are a local producer and interested in attending our markets, please contact the town council on
policy@chesham.gov.uk or phone 01494 774842. We also have a free stall at each market for Chesham-based community groups and charities - if you think your organisation would qualify, please do let us know.
