Examples of volunteering

Volunteer Chesham is taking place on Saturday 30th September at Chesham Town Hall (HP5 1DS) between 11.30am and 3pm. This is a Mayoral event to bring potential volunteers and voluntary organisations together all under one roof. Our town is blessed with a large number of voluntary organisations, charities and community organisations, all of whom quietly go about their business helping people, working to improve the town and enriching lives with community events. Please drop in at any point during the event to talk to people from local groups and find out how you can get involved. We'll be listing the organisations attending closer to the day. 

Over 200 members of the public came through the door on the first Volunteer Day in 2015. The following organisations were present, and would welcome further offers of help:
