Chesham Bois and the Beech Hangers - Walk Four
A perfect walk for beginners, this is a gentle 4 mile stroll without stiles towards Chesham Bois and its beech woods. The route gives you a taste of the area's industrial history, taking you past the site of former water mills, and also allows you to sample the wildlife tucked away in the woods and on the River Chess, a rare chalk stream. If you're really keen there is an option halfway round to take in more woodland on the return route.
