Filming & Reporting on Council Meetings

The Council is committed to conducting its business in an open, transparent manner. Members of the public are welcome to film and record our public meetings. We have adopted a simple policy that outlines how people can film, photograph, record and report on council meetings without disrupting the business of the council, and whilst ensuring that children, vulnerable adults and people who do not wish to be filmed, are protected.

You can download the policy here (PDF, 71 KB).

If you would like to record a council meeting, but have any questions on the policy or what you can and can't do, you are very welcome to contact the Town Hall office for further guidance on admin@chesham.gov.uk or by phone to 01494 774842 (Mon to Fri 10am to 4.30pm).
