Pop-Up French Market Comes to Chesham

Display of French cheeses

Come and say Bonjour on Saturday 12th September to a group of French traders, resident in the UK, who will be setting up stall all day on Chesham market to showcase a veritable tour de France of products.

There’ll be delicious cheeses and charcuteries from all the French regions, the new harvest of onions and garlic from Brittany, irresistible crêpes and galettes (savoury buckwheat crêpes) from Normandy, fragrant lavender and Marseille soap from Provence, great wines from the cote d’Azur as well as other regions, paella from the Basque country, art prints and café music from Paris, gifts galore and much more.

One trader of particular interest is Pascal Creach the last of the "Onion Johnnies", the traders from Brittany that sold onions door to door on their bicycles. His stall features much information about their history and he is always keen to tell you more! Find Pascal online at pascalonions.pagesperso-orange.fr
