Parts of Chesham are at risk from flooding; this includes places that you might not expect, including some of the hilltop areas. The FloodSmart project has created a video that explains how and why flooding occurs, including what happened to the town's geography thousands of years ago and human influence up to the present day that contribute to flooding.
