Town Council Partners, Sustainable Chesham and Fairtrade Chesham are hosting a FREE screening of The Seeds of Vandana Shiva at The Elgiva theatre.
Showing on the 8th October at 2pm, this film tells her remarkable story of Dr Vandana Shiva and how she inspired an international crusade for change in how our food is produced.
Fairtrade and Sustainable Chesham wanted to bring this film to Chesham as it looks at the epic struggle over who controls the world’s food systems, and asks the question, who will prevail? Today, industrial food accounts for up to 40% of carbon emissions, while more than two billion people face food insecurity across the globe - making the film highly pertinent to both local campaigns.
