Chesham’s festive season begins when the town’s Christmas lights are switched on by TV’s Alex Horne and Chesham United Football Club.

The annual Christmas in Chesham evening will take place between 6 and 9pm on Friday 17th November, with Alex and CUFC taking to the High Street stage from 6.30pm.

Thanks to The Elgiva, there will be music and dance on stage throughout the evening to entertain you including My Town Choir and a Flamenco show! There will be lots of funfair attractions courtesy of Smiths Funfair.

High Street shops will be staying open late and Father Christmas will be on hand to find out what the kids want for Christmas. Santa’s grotto will be in the Chapter Two bookshop, where children can meet Father Christmas and receive a gift whilst helping to support the incredible work of the St Francis Hospice.

The High Street will be lined with food and drink stalls, with something for everyone from pulled pork from The Barbarian Grill to The Vegan Indian’s Mumbai street food and Hong Kong bubble waffles for those with a sweet tooth. Market stalls will be selling quality gifts to get your Christmas shopping started and community groups and charity stalls will be raising funds for important local projects. You can play Name the Reindeer with Wycombe Homeless Connection and make your own Christmas Decorations with the Second Chesham Scouts!

Huge thanks go to our Presenting Partner and local company, Butterfly Print and Design, for their support.
