The Town Council has issued the following statement:
"The Town Council stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and condemns the Russian invasion of their country. We fully support the UK government’s programme of stringent and effective sanctions against the Russian state and urge them to continue to use any and all means to encourage a peaceful and quick resolution of this conflict."
