Chesham Cemetery

The cemetery is owned and managed by Chesham Town Council for and on behalf of the residents of Chesham. 

The cemetery caters for people of all faiths and none. Certain sections of the cemetery have been consecrated by the Church of England. There is a Chapel that seats 50 and is available for hire for services prior to interment (Please note that the Chapel is currently pending refurbishment and is not available for hire at the moment). The Avenue of Remembrance is available for the interment of ashes. St. Mary’s Churchyard

The maintenance of St. Mary’s Churchyard was passed to Chesham Town Council by the Parochial Church Council in 1974. St. Mary’s Church dates back to the 12th century and the churchyard contains a monument to Thomas Harding, who was martyred in Chesham in 1532.
