
Music in the Park 2022 featured the following bands -
Choir on the Green - A lovely, friendly local choir open to anyone, with a wonderful community of members ranging from teenagers and 20 somethings, all the way up to pensioners with every age in between! Bisham Concert Band - founded in the early 1970s as the Maidenhead Youth Centre Concert Band and in the late 1970s moved to Bisham School and renamed The Bisham Riverside Concert Band.The Band’s Musical Director is Michael Pegram who joined in October 2012. A Concert Band, featuring wind instruments, both woodwind and brass, as well as a range of percussion and a string bass. Their repertoire is broad – music from film and the stage, light classical, pop compilations such as from Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton and the Beatles.
Chesham Street Lights - the CTfC band that specialises in performing Popular and Contemporary Christian Worship Music sometimes referred to as Christian Rock. Members are drawn from within the wider community of musicians and vocalists that attend one of Chesham’s churches.
Akimbo - Jazz, samba and original music from the ears and imaginations of guitarist Pedro Velasco and vocalist Nell Greco. The duo create playful soundscapes wound around intricate melodies; looking for the beautiful, textured, intimate and improvised elements of making music.
Badd Dads - A Chesham quartet The Badd Dads play the songs they grew up with in their inimitable style. If you like post punk and New Wave bands like the Stranglers, Elvis Costello, Echo and the Bunnymen and the Jam then you'll love the Badd Dads. Bring your singing voices and dancing shoes!
Watford Brass Band - a relaxed, traditional brass band based in Watford. Over 125 years old!
Knights of Harmony- a barbershop chorus. It was founded more than forty years ago. Around 50 in number from all walks of life – from truck driver to security consultant, from builder to city gent, from teenage to an age that is impolite to mention. They sing barbershop for fun, perform in public and compete nationally –currently ranked 12th in the country.
Lous Sextet - Playing an entertaining mix of swing, jazz, latin, blues, and of course American Songbook, and other popular vocals.
