Located in south-eastern Buckinghamshire and the largest town in the Chiltern District, Chesham lies in a steep-sided valley 28 miles north-west of London. Tasks will include grass-cutting, horticulture, tree works and general maintenance.
The successful candidate should ideally also be adept at undertaking general repairs within the Council’s building such as painting and basic plumbing. Full driving licence is essential and experience with horticultural machinery and trailer towing or similar is desirable. Additional training in most areas can be offered to the successful candidate.
In addition to working within a great team we offer the following benefits:
Local government pay grade rise each year subject to satisfactory performance
Local Government Pension Scheme
Reimbursement of professional fees
