The town's Local Produce Market runs on the fourth Saturday of every month and sells high quality food, drink and crafts from a c.25 mile radius of Chesham. You can find us in Market Square near the clock tower and the lower end of the High Street between 10am and 2pm. Our market is a fantastic opportunity to try the local produce on your doorstep, at your convenience, plus meet and talk to the people who make it!
We have a great range of produce on sale, including, eggs, honey, baklava, meats, gin, beer, oils, cheese and chilli sauces. And for crafts we have ceramics, cards, art prints, candles, wax melts, soaps, shampoo bars, hand cream, crochet and silver jewellery. We also have beautiful, ornamental plants and pot holders on sale. And for your beloved pooches, we have a homemade dog treats stall! See our regular stall holders.
The local produce market is run by Chesham Town Council in partnership with Sustainable Chesham. The market was set up to support local producers and reduce the food miles consumed by Chesham's residents to help create a more sustainable community.
If you are a local producer and interested in attending our markets, please contact us, as we currently have a waiting list. You can call us on 01494 774842 or email colette.littley@chesham.gov.uk. We also have a free stall at each market for Chesham-based community groups and charities - please get in touch if you think your organisation would qualify.
