About us: Chesham Museum is a community organisation founded in 2004 with the aim of educating visitors about the rich history of Chesham. The museum and shop are located at 15 Market Square, HP5 1HG.
The trustees of the museum are responsible for managing the financial and strategic aspects of the museum. There is also a management committee with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the museum, including exhibitions, stewards' rota and running the shop.
The museum provides a safe environment in which to store and exhibit artefacts. These centre around the five Bs of Chesham - beer, boots, brushes, bricks and Baptists. The museum also provides easy, supervised access for local schools.
The museum is always in need of more stewards to work a maximum two-hour shift once a week/fortnight. Training is provided. Please contact the museum to find out more.
