Maps and other walking information are available in the reference section of Chesham Library (Elgiva Lane, HP5 2JD). Subject to availability, walking leaflets are also available from the Town Hall (off the High Street, HP5 1DS - open Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4.30 pm).

Where Is Chesham?

Chesham is in the Chilterns, in the county of Buckinghamshire in South-East England. Nearby large settlements include Aylesbury and Watford.

Getting Here

Chesham is easily accessed via the Metropolitan Line. For tube times, see www.tfl.gov.uk. Chesham is one stop away from the Chiltern Railways Station at Chalfont & Latimer. Train times can be found via www.nationalrail.co.uk. We have good bus links to adjacent towns, including High Wycombe, Hemel Hempstead and Uxbridge. For travel information, see www.bucks.gov.uk

Less than 30 miles from London, Chesham is easily accessible from the M1, M25 and M40. There are several car parks in the town centre, including both long- and short-stay. See www.chiltern.gov.uk for a list of sites and charges.

Facilities

Public toilets are available in Star Yard car park and  Lowndes Park, both in the centre of town. There are many pubs, cafes and shops in town and these are listed in the Town Guide.
