About Us:
The Waterside Community Association (WCA) was formed in 2011 with the purpose of the representation, promotion, enhancement, development and advancement of the community of Waterside. It has worked in partnership with Chesham Town Council and other local organisations on many initiatives, including launching and supporting a youth club at Christ Church, fundraising for the replacement / improvement of local play areas (such as in Gordon Road), and supporting environmental projects. The WCA has also led on campaigns of importance to local residents, including around speeding, dog fouling, littering, planning issues and anti-social behaviour.
Current WCA Priorities
The WCA committee meets every 5-6 weeks at the Pheasant Pub on Waterside. Priorities are shaped by feedback from the local community, and current priorities / projects include:

Reduce isolation and loneliness in Waterside by identifying those in need and working with service providers to provide support
-
Working with Christ Church to re-establish a Waterside focused Youth Centre
-
Support local environmental projects in Waterside, such as litter picks and cleaning up the River Chess
-
